Unlike all of the colonies so far, these people were known as quakers.They couldn't worship in England because they did not follow the Church of England.This settlement was founded in 1682.The reasons why they had established this settlement is because quakers wanted freedom to practice their faith just like everyone else.William Penn was also apart of this colony.
